RAW FOOD for the 1st time

Posted by Keisha Five in

We fed Shaggy with RAW FOOD last night. I just read this interesting post on Cat Forum a couple of days ago. And they encourage RAW FOOD, at least 40%. The advantage is that your cat will poop less, and their poop would smell less as bad.

I took a slice of meat loaf (raw beef burger, to be exact. HEHE) from the fridge, and Shaggy literally licked them off my hands! He loved it so much. I couldn't just let him sniff around for more meat, so I gave him another slice. RAW.

He ate half of it from the plate, and kept glancing back and forth from me to the raw meat in front of him. I pinched a small cut and held it out in front of his face. And he happily munched on it --- from my hands!

Oh, how I love Shaggy so much! He is so naturally adorable.

Here he is. A picture from earlier this week. He's getting better now. Bigger than his old-self. And has fur like any DSL (Domestic Short Hair). I hope he'll be back in shape by the time his new brother comes home in February 2010 =)

just my view.. raw meat dont means burger patties.. patties contain lots of fats. (words coming from someone who work in a fastfood restaurant for 1.8 mths)

raw meat in my view are those lean meat from cows, goat.. if u go to the butcher section, ask for steak cuts, sirlion, ribs.. all those lean meats. ;o)

HEHE thanks for the tips, Eddie =)

Actually I was looking for 'real' meat, but takut karang my mom marah ;p HEHE so, I'll have to get Shaggy his own meat. I guess I should since he already liked the burger, I think he might love 'real' raw meat.

Thanks again, Ed =)
